This beautiful vintage Chanel sweater I believe is from the 1980s or 90s. It is the Chanel boutique at Bergdorf Goodman on the New York plaza. The sweater is a size 40. That is basically a size, small or extra small in the United States. It’s definitely a formfitting tight top. It features four buttons on each sleeve all with the Chanel markings. Find any fabric markings, but it appears to be a wool cashmere blend. There is an extra button sewn on the inside. The sweater is straight from the closet of a Manhattan estate. The sleeves are meant to go to your wrist or a little bit higher. As I said, this is a formfitting sweater and I believe as all Chanel, it runs small. There is some pilling, but all in all the sweater is in very good condition. There are no stains or rips or holes. A beautiful Vintage piece.
