Released in 1989 and named after Princess Diana, who owned and adored the smaller version, the Diana shoulder bag quickly became one of Chanel's most iconic designs. Crafted from black diamond-quilted lambskin, this medium version is finished with the signature interlocking CC turn-lock fastening in polished gold-tone hardware. This is still one of the most sought after styles, as it is a compact and timeless bag that is much roomier inside than it looks. I think Princess Diana loved this bag because it's light, minimalist, elegant, and still quintessentially Chanel. It's adds a touch of elegance to a casual day outfit or is perfect to dress up your look for a night out. This bag is from the 1994 - 1996 collection. It is finely composed of supple diamond quilted lambskin leather in black. The bag features a waist-length polished gold chain link leather threaded shoulder strap and a gold plated Chanel CC turn lock. The flap opens to a bordeaux leather interior with zipper and patch pockets. *Doesn't come w/ authenticity card, box or dust bag. Condition: - Overall in great vintage condition. Structure is still in very good shape. Wear is consistent with age and use. Some scratches and finish wear to hardware; creasing, abrasions and variant discoloration to leather; creasing, puckering and scratches to the interior. Dimensions: 9.75" W x 6.25" H x 2.75" D - 20" strap drop. *Comes from a smoke free home. *Last photo not my own or my bag. Shown only for size reference.
